Contemporary Romance Character Interview
So, I know it can be hard to wait for a book to come out. I mean, I am sitting here right now just tapping my toes in complete impatience waiting for the next book in Addison Moore's Celestra series to come out. I am hopelessly addicted. But I can't imagine waiting for something that I haven't even gotten a taste for yet. That being said, I thought I might satisfy you just a little with a short character interview. This is the main character in the up and coming contemporary romance: Texas Roze, which will be out very shortly!
Interview with Roze
Interviewer: So, Roze, I hear you've been through a lot, losing your father and inheriting his ranch. You've gone from this city girl working directly with celebrities on a daily basis to trying to run a ranch with a very uncooperative partner. How have you handled all of this?
Roze: I think I have handled it pretty well. I mean, I am sad about my father, but we hadn't been close in a long time which is why I am mostly just surprised that he gave the ranch to me. I'll admit that I don't alway know what I am doing, which is why I wish my partner were more cooperative, but I do love it out here. I feel like I can breathe and slow down.
Interviewer: Well, that's a very beautiful way to look at things. Fans were also wondering about your recent single status; how long do you think that will last?
Roze: *breaks a sly smile* Well, I can't give away too much, but I won't deny that there is someone I have my sights set on. So, I hope I won't stay single very long.
Interviewer: What is the quality you like most in a man, if I may ask?
Roze: That's a good question. Other than the obvious physical features, I actually like a guy who can be humble. As you said before, I was around celebrities all the time in L.A., and very few of them had that after they got big. I've learned that humility is a great but rare asset.
Interviewer: So, then, what trait is it that you most deplore in others?
Roze: That's a harder one to think about. I don't like pride, but I don't think being prideful is the worst thing a person can be. I would maybe have to say that I hate a liar. Now, I know people have reasons to tell little white lies or say things to protect those I love. What I mean is someone who lies about big things in a way that can really hurt others. I don't think I could handle a person who did that.
Interviewer: Alright, Roze, you have been very forthcoming, and I have enjoyed our time together. I just have one more question for you; something a little lighter as a good send off. What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Roze: Being surrounded by people who I love who also love me in a fulfilling environment; whatever that might be.
